If there’s one fault with the Internet today, it’s that there’s so many different things are vying for our attention all the time. Operating in the seminar / webinar space, it’s understandable that capturing someone’s attention and holding it for a while can be difficult. Just look at your conversion and response rates for online webinars or scheduled conference calls and you can see how difficult it is to add new participants and schedule their time.

A new service called Live Matrix (online at LiveMatrix.com) is attempting to change that by introducing a “schedule” model to the web with a look and feel similar to a guide listing on your cable box. It integrates a social aspect as well, allowing people to promote upcoming events to the top of the pile – potentially allowing you to add new viewers & participants to your webinars just by listing your events online. There’s also an advertising option, which may be an interesting channel to explore to promote your introductory webinars or live web events.
It’s probably too early to tell whether or not this will take off within the wealth-development webinar space, but for those of you who are eager to become an early adopter, go ahead and give it a shot. You can sign up for a publisher account here, and for the time being, it’s completely free. Odds are that will change down the road, assuming Live Matrix gets some traction and gains users quickly.
